Privacy Policy

The short version

Most DevToolHQ tools run 100% in your browser. Your input data never leaves your device, is not stored, and is not transmitted to us or any third party. What follows explains the narrow exceptions and how the rest of the site is instrumented.

Who we are

DevToolHQ is operated by Aniket Nigam, a solo developer based in India. You can reach the operator at hello@devtoolhq.com.

What we collect

Tool input. Text, JSON, JWTs, regex, and any other values you paste into a tool are processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. We do not log, store, or transmit these values.

Aggregate analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page views, referrer sources, rough geographic region at the country level, and page performance. These services do not set tracking cookies and do not build a cross-site profile of you.

Server logs. Our hosting providers, Vercel and Cloudflare, retain short-lived request logs for abuse prevention and diagnostics. These logs include IP address, user agent, and requested path. We do not use these logs for marketing.

Contact form. If you send a message via the contact page, the form is delivered through Web3Forms to the operator email. Your name, email, and message are retained in the operator inbox for as long as needed to reply.

Cookies

The site does not set tracking cookies. A small number of functional values may be written tolocalStorage so the UI can remember your preferences (such as theme or last-used options). These values stay in your browser and are not transmitted to us.

Third parties

• Vercel: hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring.
• Cloudflare: DNS, email routing for hello@devtoolhq.com, and edge network.
• Web3Forms: delivery of messages submitted through the contact page.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with a data rights regime, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Emailhello@devtoolhq.comfrom the address on file and we will respond within 30 days. Since most interactions are anonymous and stateless, we often have nothing to return.

Children

DevToolHQ is a general-audience developer site. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of the page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
