1. Acceptance

By accessing or using devtoolhq.com (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of DevToolHQ.

2. The tools

DevToolHQ offers a collection of free, browser-based utilities for developers, writers, and data engineers, including JWT decoders, JSON formatters, text transforms, and regex testers. The tools are provided as a convenience and are intended for informational and development use.

3. No warranty

The Site and all tools are provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the tools are error-free, secure, or will produce results suitable for your specific situation.

4. Not professional advice

Output from the tools is informational only. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, security, engineering, or other professional advice. Validate all results before relying on them in production, in security-sensitive workflows, or in any context where an error could cause harm.

5. Intellectual property

The Site’s code, design, copy, and branding are owned by the operator of DevToolHQ and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You retain all rights to any input you paste into the tools and to any output you generate from those inputs. We claim no ownership over your content.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Automate requests against the Site in a way that degrades service for others, including scraping at a rate that exceeds normal human use.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what is already publicly delivered to your browser.
• Use the Site to process content that is unlawful, infringing, or intended to harm a third party.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or circumvent any security measures.
• Resell, redistribute, or re-host the tools as a branded service without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of DevToolHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. Total aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to INR 1,000.

8. Third-party services

The Site relies on third parties including Vercel, Cloudflare, and Web3Forms for infrastructure and form delivery. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of any third-party service.

9. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes are reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
